This new functionality will be visible in Office from 19 December 2025, but it will not submit data to Starting Blocks until 16 January 2026. The existing submission process will continue until the old workflow is removed.
All data should be entered into the new workflow by Friday, 16 January 2026, to ensure it is submitted to Starting Blocks for the following week.

We’ve made improvements to allow services to more easily submit and manage their Starting Blocks fee and vacancy information directly within Office. This enhancement improves accuracy and transparency by enabling services to specify fee and vacancy details for each session type and age group.
Submit Fees and Vacancies Directly From Office- Fees, vacancies and inclusions can be specified for each session type for each age group.
- This replaces the previous method, in which Starting Blocks calculated fees using the median of all room fees.
Automatic Weekly Submissions
Your fee and vacancy information is automatically submitted to Starting Blocks every week.
- Changes must be finalised by the end of the day each Friday in order to submit the following week’s fees and vacancies.
- If no updates are made, Office will automatically resubmit the existing data from the previous week.
The new Starting Blocks tab can be found in Office > Child Care Subsidy > Starting Blocks.
